Next to Serrano Creek Park, there is a split rail fence. Beyond the fence, a trail goes beyond the oak trees. Follow the trail, and look for the dam of logs across the creek. DO NOT CROSS THE CREEK! Keep walking ten steps north-west, and look on your right. You will see a Ziploc bag with a book in it.
